The creators of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Anek revealed the first motion poster of the film on Wednesday, ahead of the release of the trailer. Anubhav Sinha will direct the political action thriller, in which Ayushmann Khurrana will play an undercover officer.

The actor is dressed in military gear on the motion poster. As Khurrana’s voiceover says, “Humaara desh and his son se judkar bana hai,” the backdrop reveals a picture of India. Phir kuch hissey humse aaj bhi juda hain… Jab ek samaan anek rahe.. Har hissy, Hindustan. The mission for peace has begun! What about Jeetega Kaun? Hindustan (Because our nation is made up of several sections, certain locations are still seen differently. Every nook becomes India when there is equality in variety).” The motion poster suggests that the film is set in Northeast India.

Ayushmann Khurana, who shared the motion poster, tweeted, “Ab har dil bolega- #JeetegaKaunHindustan.” Stay tuned for the trailer, which will be released tomorrow!”

Anubhav Sinha, the director of Anek, said upon the announcement of the film’s release date, “A lot of hard work and planning goes into the development of a film, and by that logic, it deserves undivided attention.” We were delighted to delay the release of Anek by a few days so that fans may appreciate both films (Anek and Jayeshbhai Jordaar) in a more spaced-out way.” Anek’s release date was moved back by two weeks to prevent a conflict with Ranveer Singh’s flick.
