Is Jacqueline Fernandez on the verge of getting banned in Bollywood?

Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan beauty who was doing well in Bollywood, has suddenly had her career derailed. Her serious run-in with the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which has now attached Rs 7.27 crore of her assets in the extortion case against conman Sukesh

Since Jacqueline’s problems with the ED arose, filmmakers have been keeping a close eye on her career. Producers were fairly confident that her name would be cleared eventually, so her roles in her most recent films, Bachchan Pandey (with Akshay Kumar) and Attack (with John Abraham), escaped the chopping block.

Surprisingly, Jacqueline Fernandez played a similar role in both Bachchhan Pandey and Attack of the hero’s sweetheart who is murdered in the middle of the film. The superstitious film business now blames Fernandez’s ruined reputation for the enormous failure of both projects.

On the condition of anonymity, one of Jacqueline Fernandez’s directors discusses her future in Bollywood. “I’m afraid it’s not very bright. It is abundantly clear that her legal problems are not going away. Our film industry has a reputation for staying out of hot water. Bachchan Pandey and Attack were her most recent releases. Despite the presence of major stars, both films bombed miserably. Cirkus with Ranveer Singh and Ram Setu with Akshay Kumar is her new projects. They’ll either replace her or minimize her character and role.”

Salman Khan, Jacqueline’s mentor, and leader has reportedly opted to maintain a professional distance from his Kick co-star, but she is still invited to his parties. Salman, who enjoys coaching firangi actresses (such as Katrina, Iulia Vantur, and Jacqueline), has opted to remove himself from her. Jacqueline Fernandez was pulled from Salman’s Dabangg tour earlier this year in Riyadh.

She is also no longer a part of Krish Jagarlamudi’s Telugu historical drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which stars Pawan Kalyan. Jacqueline had supposedly been signed for this extravagant costume play at an exorbitant fee. She has been discreetly replaced by Nargis Fakhri, despite the scandal and turmoil that has dogged her image.

Following her withdrawal from a big-budget Telugu film in which she starred alongside the state’s superstar Pavan Kalyan, we now learn that Jacqueline may be out of yet another famous movie. Jacqueline is reportedly no longer a part of Kick 2, the big Salman franchise that producer Sajid Nadiadwala will direct.
