Ranveer Singh worked with a diction coach for nearly a month, according to Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar

Ranveer Singh stars in Yash Raj Films’ Jayeshbhai Jordaar, a big-screen blockbuster that will introduce a new kind of hero and valour to Indian film. Ranveer Singh has been named the finest actor in the nation today due to his chameleon-like ability to shape-shift on screen with each film. He has once again changed himself into a figure from Gujarat’s heartland, who will delight us, capture our hearts, and convey a profound message with his razor-sharp humour. Given that he is portraying a Gujarati on film, Ranveer spent almost a month working with a diction coach and surrounding himself with Gujarati theatre performers during the Jayeshbhai Jordaar shoot.

In his own words, “As an artist, it’s important for me to be completely real in my performances when I’m asked to play a role that belongs to someone else in a certain region of my country,” Ranveer explains. From Ram Leela to Bajirao, Gully Boy to Simmba, and now Jayeshbhai, I feel obligated to authentically reflect the settings of these characters. I feel obligated to do credit to the people, their unique culture, and their spoken accents. I leave no stone unturned to give it my best.”

It was a crucial and essential responsibility for me to speak precisely as their Hindi would sound. So, owing to my director Divyang, who is also from Gujarat, I accomplished a few more things. He surrounded me with amazing Gujarati theatre and cinema actors who had been cast in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Divyang made sure they were always beside me on set so I could frequently practise my sequences with them. “Becoming Jayeshbhai was a priceless experience for me.”

Ranveer Singh’s Gujarati performance in Jayeshbhai Jordaar stunned everyone! My current success is due in large part to the hard work of everyone involved in making sure we put on a show that everyone can be proud of a suitable homage to all Gujaratis,” he adds. When it comes to my trade, I’m not one to take half measures.”

So, “I put in my best effort from the beginning of each project and Jayeshbhai was no exception,” the author writes. No film will ever be created because I want to wow everyone with my job. As an actor, I want them to remember me as someone who could do it all. I’ll be content if that’s what comes of it as my legacy.”

A satirical parody of society, Maneesh Sharma’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar also stars Arjun Reddy’s famous Shalini Pandey, who makes her Bollywood debut opposite Ranveer. The film, directed by Divyang Thakkar, will be released internationally on May 13, 2022.
