The wedding of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has been postponed.

He apparently informed the site that Alia and Ranbir had opted to postpone their wedding after information was supposedly ‘leaked’ to the public. He revealed in his statement to the site that the couple had set April 14 as the date for the wedding and other celebrations.
“The dates were previously the same, but once the information was leaked to the public, the dates were modified,” Rahul said to the site.

“Security considerations were also one of the reasons,” he said when explaining why the date had been pushed back.

He also disclosed that the pair would make an official announcement to fans and the media in the coming days. “As far as I know, there will be an announcement on the date shortly,” he stated.
He also mentioned that the wedding might take place next week, on or around April 20.

Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir’s mother, said to the reporters on the film sets, “I don’t know when” (it will happen). Let’s see when it happens.
