Karisma Kapoor answers a fan’s question about whether she’d ever marry again.

On Thursday, actress Karisma Kapoor held an AMA (ask me anything) session with her Instagram followers. During the brief interview, Karisma answered questions ranging from her favorite people to her favorite food and even revealed whether she preferred Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh. One of the questions she was asked was whether she would ever consider marrying again, and the actor had an answer ready.

On Thursday, Karisma took to Instagram Stories, saying she’s ready to answer fans’ questions. While most fans asked her fun questions, such as her favorite food (biryani) or her favorite color (she hinted it was black), some asked more personal ones. When a fan asked if she would marry again, Karisma responded with a GIF of a confused and perturbed looking person and the words, ‘Depends!’ Karisma has rarely spoken about her past, but her marriage ended in a public divorce.

In 2003, Karisma married businessman Sanjay Kapur. Kiaan and Samaira are the couple’s two children: Samaira is the daughter and Kiaan is the son. Karisma and Sanjay filed for divorce by mutual consent in 2014. In 2016, their divorce was finalized. The divorce became tumultuous when both parties leveled several allegations against each other.

In a post-divorce interview with Hindustan Times, Karisma’s father, actor Randhir Kapoor, revealed that he was never a fan of the match. “Our credentials are well known.” The Kapoors. We don’t need to go after other people’s money. We have been blessed not only with money but also with talent that will sustain us for the rest of our lives. Sunday is a man of the third class. I never intended for Karisma to marry him. He has a debauchery problem and has never cared for his wife. He’s been lying to her and living with another woman. Karisma also revealed her favorite people during the AMA.

Karisma also answered some more amusing questions during the AMA. When asked if she preferred Ranbir or Ranveer, she replied, “I love both.” When asked who her favorite person is, she shared a collage of photos of her parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita, her children Samaira and Kiaan, her sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and her husband Saif Ali Khan, and Taimur and Jehangir, the children of Saif-Kareena. “They’re all my favorites,” she wrote.

Karisma was one of Bollywood’s most successful actors in the 1990s, with several hit films under her belt. She took a break from acting after her marriage, but she did make a few appearances after that. She was last seen on screen in the AltBalaji web series Mentalhood in 2020. It was her OTT debut. Her next appearance will be in Abhinay Deo’s Brown.
