Shershaah – Official Trailer | Vishnu Varadhan | Sidharth Malhotra

Shershaah Official Trailer, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani and directed by Vishnu Varadhan, is now available on Amazon Prime Video.

The film will have its world premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 12, 2021.

About Shershaah Shershaah is the actual story of Capt. Vikram Batra, a PVC awardee courageous Indian soldier whose heroism lives on in the Indian consciousness. In the 1999 Kargil War, his services were vital in India’s victory over the enemy.

SHERSHAAH’S TRAILER HAS BEEN RELEASED
Just a few days ago, the creators of Shershaah revealed the much-anticipated film’s release date. They’ve also published the trailer for the flick. Shershaah is directed by Tamil filmmaker Vishnu Vardhan, who makes his Bollywood directorial debut with the film. Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainments are collaborating on the film. On July 26, the trailer was released in front of Kargil Divas. Captain Vikram Batra is played by Sidharth Malhotra in the trailer. The many facets of a soldier’s life, whether professional or personal, are subsequently shown.

SHERSHAAH POSTERS
Sidharth Malhotra had already released a handful of Shershaah posters. Captain Vikram Batra’s grit and heroism were shown in one of the posters. He stated on Twitter after sharing the image, “His bravery propelled him to the battlefield and enabled him to scale whatever height he set his mind to. The film #ShershaahOnPrime will be released on August 12th (sic).”

SHERSHAAH’S HISTORY
Shershaah was supposed to be out in theatres, but it will instead be available on Amazon Prime Video. Captain Vikram Batra died while attempting to save a fellow officer, and the film is based on his life. Vikram Batra of the 13 Jammu and Kashmir Rifles took part in the Dras sub-sector of the Kargil War in June 1999 and was important in the seizure of Point 5140. During the Point 4875 mission, he boldly rushed forward to save Lieutenant Naveen, a subaltern under his command. His father got Vikram’s Param Vir Chakra Award posthumously on August 15, 1999.

Dimple Cheema, played by Kiara Advani, is his fiancee. Dimple was never got married and lived as his widow.
