Taapsee Pannu on landing the role of Dunki opposite Shah Rukh Khan

Taapsee Pannu has tweeted about landing a Rajkumar Hirani Dunki film opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She expressed her joy by using references from their films.

Taapsee Pannu has finally got a job alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Not only that but the film Dunki will be directed by none other than Rajkumar Hirani. Taapsee Pannu talked about working with Shah Rukh and Rajkumar Hirani with references from their films, hours after Shah Rukh announced with a video. Taapsee Pannu took to Twitter after the announcement to share her thoughts. It was difficult to get to this point, and it was much more difficult when you were on your own, but as a famous actor once said: “If you want something with all your heart, the whole world conspires to bring it to you.” She congratulated herself on her honesty, hard work, and dedication.

While Taapsee’s post quotes a “superstar” from Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om, All is Well is a classic phrase from Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots.

Taapsee’s fans reacted to her on Twitter. “Congratulations Pannu Ji,” Abhishek Bachchan tweeted in response to her tweet. Mukesh Chhabra, a casting director turned filmmaker, responded to the tweet with a heart emoticon.

The film began shooting in April, with the next schedule taking place primarily in Punjab. Dunki is a JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films production written by Abhijaat Joshi, Kanika Dhillon, and Hirani, who will also produce the project with Gauri Khan.
