In terms of advancements and fan enthusiasm, Spider-Man: No Way Home appears to be following in the footsteps of its American counterpart. And the enthusiasm from fans in the South appears to be just the beginning since only a handful of theatres began taking reservations Wednesday. The famed Prasad Hyderabad multiplex started advance booking at 5 p.m. yesterday, and more than 5000 tickets were sold within two hours of its announcement, prompting the cinema to add extra performances.

In Kerala, concerts beginning at 5 a.m. in key towns such as Ernakulam, Calicut, and Trivandrum sold out in minutes. Several 5 a.m. programs have now been added.
